Four Arrested for Murder of German National in Entebbe

Police in Entebbe have arrested four suspects for allegedly taking part in the murder of a male Germany national, Rudel Fredrick Werner 70 last week.

Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson Patrick Onyango identified the suspects as Danialia Jackiline, Dakanimya Eria, Atwiine Jacky Jalia and Chega Babra.

The case was reported at Mpala Police Station, Entebbe municipality at 0600 hours on 03/04/2020 by Lieutenant Jimmy Bwambale, a pilot attached to Uganda People's Defence Air Force.

The deceased had stayed in the country for five years and was allegedly married to Atwiine jalia (Civil marriage) for about three years but were staying separately of late.

It is alleged that the deceased's part time maid one Chega Babrah Precious came and knocked the gate but there was no response raising suspicion of Lt. Bwambale who happens to be the neighbor.

It was suspected that the diseased was strangled in his enclosed compound and the body later dragged to his bed room.

The Crime scene was thoroughly examined by the Division CID Officer, divisional scene of crime officers and the homicide team.

The body was later taken to Mulago City Mortuary pending postmortem.
