The Director and Proprietor Wamala Mixed Day and Boarding Primary and Secondary school has been remanded on three counts of aggravated defilement and indecent assault.

Mpigi Chief Magistrate, Muhammad Kasakkya remanded Asadu Wamala who on Monday  appeared before Court alongside the school matron, Halima Nansubuga, who is accused of aiding him to commit the crime.

The accused was not allowed to plead to the charges, as the Court lacks jurisdiction on the charges slapped against him.

On the other hand, Nansubuga pleaded not guilty to the charges and was also remanded to prison until January 07th, 2020 when the duo will return to court for the mention of their case.

Dueing the Court appearance, a defense lawyer who declined to identify herself demanded for copies of the statements recorded by the complainants but Timothy Aditi the state attorney declined, arguing that the matter was still under investigations.

Court heard that in October this year, Wamala with the aid of Nansubuga defiled two teenage girls aged 16 and 17 years old respectively.

The Director is also accused of indecently assaulting another underage girl from the same school. At least five other girls are alleged to have come out to pin  Wamala for defiling them.
