Police in Kyaliwajala has in custody four men who were found with suspected stolen phones. The suspects were arrested from the areas of wabiduku-kasenyi Balintuma zone kiwatule parish, Nakawa division.
The development follows the arrest of one of the suspects who lator led officers to his whole team including the buyer of the stolen phones where upon search in his shop, exbhits of 61 phones including that of the victim Ibra Frank who had recently complained that he was hit and phone taken ( infinix ).
The suspects include; Okello Hassan alias moses nickname bob cow, Nisima Geoffrey alias kamugisha nickname rasta bubanda , Mutyaba Eria nickname Yakuza, Mutebi Shafic(buyer stolen phones, 1 infinix robbed from Ibra frank recovered with him and other 61 phones suspected to be stolen).
They have been charged with robbery and being in possession of suspected stolen items vide sd ref ,30/09/09/2019 , CRB 118/19.
Police says the operation is still ongoing.
