Authorities in Sembabule district have closed the boarding section at Sembabule RC Primary School and ordered all boarding pupils to return home after the school caught fire again.
A second fire outbreak destroyed one of the School buildings two weeks after the initial accident that destroyed a dormitory accommodating 46 pupils.
According to the school head teacher Annet Patricia Nampeera, fire was detected from the roof by one of the teachers.
Now, Martin Tukahebwa the Sembabule District Police Commander says the repeated incident prompted them to close the school's boarding section, to enable thorough investigations into the incident, adding that the concurrent fires are a threat to the lives of the pupils.
