Incarcerated patron of city gang Boda boda 2010, Abdullah Kitatta returns to the military court martial in Makindye for a witness to complete his testimony against the gang leader.

On Monday, testimony of Major David Abigaba the Commander Operations in the Chieftaincy of Military was cut short by time, and Lt. Gen. Andrew Gutti the Court chairman adjourned proceedings to today.

According to Major Abigaba, Kitatta was found in possession of a gold pistol which he confessed to having received from police heads. Abigaba told court that in his 20 years of service, he had never seen such a pistol.

The gang leader who appeared weak in Court during Monday proceedings is battling charges of illegal possession of firearms. He was found in possession of two pistols, AK47, 55 rounds of ammunition and four uniforms of the UPDF.

He is charged with Matia Ssenfuka, Joel Kibirige, Jonathan Kayondo, Hassan Ssemata, Sande Ssemwogerere, Ssengooba Hassan, John Ssebandeke, Fred Bwanika, Amon Twinomujuni and Hussein Mugema. The gang was busted and its members arrested in Rubaga Division on January 19th 2018. 

Major Agaba who commanded the operation told Court on Monday that Kitatta and his gang were arrested after attempting to block arrest of suspects in the murder of a Case clinic accountant, a one Francis Ekalungar.
