After the completion of the Rotary-Centenary Bank Cancer Centre at Nsambya Hospital, partners have embarked on a much more ambitious project of bringing high tech cancer treatment machinery in the country.

According to Chief runner Centenary Bank Executive Director Dr Simon Kagugube, this year’s proceeds will again go towards the purchase of two Linear Accelerators (modern cancer treatment machines) and the construction of the bunker for the Linear Accelerator at the Rotary-Centenary Bank Cancer Ward at Nsambya Hospital.

Centenary Bank has already made a sh155m contribution and this is the seventh time that the Bank shall be partnering with Rotary Uganda in the fight against the Cancer scourge.

The estimated cost for both the machines and bunkers is Shs18 billion and sh1.1bn has so far been raised.

Tickets will be purchased at Shs.25, 000/- from the following Centenary Branches; Mapeera, Nakivubo, Ntinda, Kireka and Rubaga.
