A somber mood has filled the Anglican Church community after its former leader Rtd. Arch Bishop Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo lost battle to cancer.
Nkoyoyo passed on this morning at Kampala hospital in Kololo, after a long battle with throat cancer.
It is remembered that last year, government earmarked more than Shillings 80 Million for his operation at St. Mary’s Hospital Paddington, London, where he was admitted since December 2016.
According to archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Stanley Ntagali, the retired 82 year old Archbishop Nkoyoyo died at 11:40am on Friday.
