Besigye Blocked From Entering Church To Eulogise AIGP Kaweesi

Opposition FDC former presidential candidate Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye was blocked from accessing the Cathedral for prayers.

Besigye was blocked by angry police officers. He was travelling in his vehicle alongside Kawempe MP, Mubarak Munyagwa. The ironman had just returned from a court session at Nakawa chief Magistrates court.

Besigye according told reporters on site, respected the officers’ decision and drove off, leaving the Cathedral with his peer. He has had nothing but praises for Kaweesi since the Friday morning shooting.

He described the slain officer as one with empathy, despite his type of work.
