Foreign Affairs Minister, Sam Kutesa is smiling ear to ear ear as he celebrates his victory as an unopposed lcandidate for the Mawagola North county Member of Parliament following the cowardice move by his rivals to withdrawal from the race.

Reports reaching our desk indicate that Amon Asiimwe, Noordin Swaibu Kalanda and Deo Kaweesa, all independents have decided to step down in favor of the former UN President, and communicated to the Sembabule District Returning Officer Latif Ngonzi, about their withdrawal from the race.

However, these cowards did not give reasons for their decision leaving Kutesa unopposed. Ngonzi, explains that Amos Asiimwe quit the race two weeks ago, while Noordin Kalanda and Deo Kaweesa quit on Tuesday this week.

Deo Kaweesa and Noordin Kalanda say they were asked by President Yoweri Museveni to step down in favor of Kutesa while Kalanda, who belongs to the Go-Forward camp, says he failed to get resources to facilitate his campaigns
