Musician Azawi is gearing up for her maiden concert slated for this Friday at Lugogo Grounds.
Together with her fans, they will be celebrating two years of non-stop music.
When she announced her show, many music analysts doubted her capacity to fill the venue.
To make matters worse, she hardly made any appearances on TV and Radio until this week when she went on a media tour.
During the activations, the singer gave out many free tickets to lucky winners to attend the concert.
Many music lovers noted that the move was fuelled by the pressure to fill up the venue since her tickets are expensive.
But her manager, Jaylor Birungi defended her claiming the tickets were bought by Azawi’s fans in the diaspora.
“The tickets were bought by people in the diaspora. We are not giving away free tickets," she said.
Azawi is expected to perform alongside some of the finest Ugandan musicians.
