Uganda Musician Association (UMA) electoral commission announced that voting will take place on Monday 23rd May 2022 using digital channels.

They include using SMS and special codes for specific candidates.

King Saha has expressed his dissatisfaction by claiming the voter's register is changed daily by people who intend to rig the elections.

The singer has vowed to boycott the elections if UMA fails to use ballot voting.

“COVID-19 ended. We can use a ballot. Why not? I will tell my people to boycott the elections if they can’t use the ballot,” he said in an interview.

King Saha is going head to head with the incumbent Cindy Sanyu for the top office of the UMA Presidency.
