Musician Bebe Cool has had a bittersweet relationship with songwriters for years. He is still in court battling a case with Black Skin, who accused him of not fully paying for the "gyenvude" song. Bebe Cool released the contested song last year.
Discussing his connection with songwriters, he said they should stick to writing.
He added that it is hard to run to successful careers in the entertainment industry.
"Songwriters should stick to writing instead of releasing songs. You can't be gifted in all, do what God selected for you," he said in an interview with local television.
Songwriters/ musicians include; Nince Henry, Mudra, Silver Kyagulanyi, black skin among others.
