During the end-of-year national address on 31st December 2021, President Museveni announced that the entertainment industry will open up on the  24th of this month.

This message was welcomed by many musicians, including rapper Gravity Omutujju.

In an interview, he promised to stage a show in February at Cricket oval.

But he warned the President not to lock down the country again.

He declared that if Sevo stops them from working, he will have no choice but to take poison and end his life.

He explained he has lots of debts that he incurred during the lockdown.

Furthermore, he wants to work and pay his bills.

"Without doubt, some of us will take poison, I will just commit suicide because of debts. I can not sustain myself and I ask Sevo to keep his word of opening the economy," he said in an interview with Mc Kats.

The night economy is expected to be open again after two years of closure due to restrictions instituted by the government to lower the spread of COVID-19.
