In his most recent televised address on Covid-19, President Museveni said he was going to ease restrictions on bars and the entertainment industry in January 2022.

Some musicians are happy about the promise to open up, but Bebe Cool isn’t. He wants the President to bring the opening date closer to December.

“December is when we make substantial money. When he opens in January, the business will be slow which is not good enough for artists who have not been working for long. People need to get money to pay fees for children when schools start in January,” Bebe Cool explained.
