Swangz Avenue’s recording artist, Azawi announced on Wednesday that her debut album named, African Music, will be released on 9th October 2021.
Two singles off the album are already doing well. "My Year" was released 3 months ago followed by "slow dancing" which has gone on to become the number one song on YouTube and Apple Music in Uganda.
In a video posted on her social media accounts, Azawi doesn’t give away much about the album. There’s no mention of which artists are featuring on the album but she promises to unveil details soon.
Azawi broke onto the scene last year with a chart-topping EP that featured songs like "Quinamino", "Repeat it" and "Lo Fit".
