Ykee Benda broke onto the scene about six years ago with his hit song “Farmer” which featured Sheebah Karungi.
He has since kept on top of his game, won several awards, performed at some of the biggest stages in the world, contributed to some of the biggest music projects in the world including the 2018 World Cup song.
But the singer has never released an Album for his relatively big fan base.
A few months ago, he announced that he would release one this year dubbed “Kirabo”.
According to Ykee Benda, the Album is made up of eight different languages and features top African stars like Tekno Miles from Nigeria.
The Mpaka Records boss also emphasizes that the album will be the most expensive in Uganda’s history.
He claims he worked with some of the best producers and it’s the total cost is tens of millions.
Ykee Benda has not yet announced the exact release date of the Album.
