For the past few days, the newly elected MPs have been swearing-in.

Among these include; musicians Hillary Kiyagga alias Dr. Hilderman, Geoffrey Lutaaya, Racheal Magoola of Ombangaina fame.

TV presenter Douglas Lwanga has asked the newly sworn-in MPs to fight for the rights of musicians and make the music industry better through legislation.

According to Douglas Lwanga, most of the  MPs don’t have an idea about the role the music industry plays but the three MPs know how important it is. 

Douglas Lwanga further emphasized that the fate of the industry is now in their hands.

Rema Namakula’s former manager Kayemba also took an oath as the MP for Bukomansimbi South.
