Dancehall artiste Beenie Gunter had his former manager, Ibrah nabbed early this week. He was taken into police custody after he tried to escape from a meeting in which Beenie’s current management, Talent Africa, tried to negotiate with him to hand over Beenie’s Tune Core account.

Unwilling to surrender, Ibrah tried to run away and was netted by Boda Boda men near Talent Africa offices. The rowdy Boda men almost lynched him only to be saved by police.

“I visited him and we talked. I want to sort out a few things with him like a brother and then he can be released. I don’t want him to be there for long,” Beenie said in an interview.

Ibrah is now still under custody but Beenie has revealed that he is not interested in keeping him in prison.
