Musician Ykee Benda has been the President of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) for less than a year.
Talking about his term, he revealed that the position was consuming a lot of his time yet he gained nothing from it.
He said his business ventures were affected because he wasn't concentrating on them.
"My businesses were gravely affected because I had no time to monitor them. I spent most of my time doing UMA duties and yet I am not paid to do the job, it's more like a volunteer job and I think I have done my part," he said in an interview with a local YouTuber.
Musician Ykee Benda announced his resignation last week and it is reported Cindy will be taking over from him.
