The Museveni Election Music Awards(MEMAs) were announced a week ago and on Thursday night, they held a virtual ceremony at Kati Kati Gardens.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni received a Lifetime Achievement Award
Some of the other categories in these awards are; a song of the year, performing artist of the year, legendary Kadongo Kamu artiste, Afrobeat, and dancehall artiste.
The MEMAs debuted this year and are an initiative of Presidential advisor Mark Bugembe alias Buchaman.
