Dancehall artiste John Blaq has revealed he turned down an offer from Mr Ezzy’s Em Pawa, a label that wanted to sign him after a recommendation from A Pass.
Mr Ezzy was in Uganda some time back to sign local artistes who can't afford to finance themselves. Mr Ezzy had picked interest in John Blaq's music.
He sent him a message on Instagram but John Blaq says he did not take the offer.
“I was excited to receive a text from Mr Ezzy but I couldn’t accept his offer because I had a hit song doing well on the local market. The label was looking for struggling upcoming musicians and I wasn’t in that calibre any more. I wanted other artistes to get a chance,” he revealed.
