About 2 moths ago, Vinka signed with Sony Music Africa.
The Sony deal allows Vinka to retain her management at Swangz Avenue. Sony agreed to let Swangz work on the artiste’s strategy, since they understand the artiste and market better.
The latest is that Sony Music took full control of Vinka’s music with effect from August 1st 2019.
Vinka's music is now uploaded directly to her YouTube channel known as “VinkaVevo”.
According to an insider, Swangz has no right to distribute the singer’s music internationally like it has always done for it’s musicians.
Swangz will only be generating money from her local bookings.
