Singer Mowzey Radio passed away in February after succumbing to head injuries sustained in a bar brawl at De Bar, a hangout in Entebbe.
Goodlyfe management through Katende, ssempebwa & co. Advocates has filed for court order to stop the general public from using Mowzey Radio's music and image in whatever way without authorisation.
In a letter addressed to the public, musicians and media, it is clear that no one is allowed to use Mowzey Radio's musical work without obtaining licence from Angel Music. And anyone who does not adhere will face the consequences.
After Mowzey Radio's death, several people have come out to do cover songs for his music while media houses have been running commercials using Radio and Weasel's musical work without consent.
