Gospel musican Judith Babirye has won the Buikwe Woman MP seat after defeating the incumbent MP, Dorothy Mpiima in NRM primaries
According to the provisional results, Judith of the Judith Babirye Ministries was fully voted in after the people of Buikwe thought she was the one that could change their lives.
During the nominations, Judith Babirye promised voters that she wants to help her people move from substance agriculture to commercial agriculture.
Meanwhile, she is known for inspirational gospel Music, singing both in English and Luganda and famous for songs like “Yesu beera Nange“, “Omusaayi“, “Omukisa gwa Mukama” and “Maama”, among others.
