Songs of praises have been playing on everyone's lips since Friday 14 August when Eddy Kenzo's Mbilo Mbilo Concert took place, at Hotel Africana. The Concert was pretty much amazing but we noticed a few flops here and there.

TWO, THREE, FOUR MUSICIANS SHARING A MICRPHONE ? Arggh...

This was certainly the biggest upset of the night, we noticed that one of the two microphones had stopped functioning when Bobi Wine, Nubian lee and the Man of the night Eddy Kenzo stepped on stage to perform together. The trio had to use one microphone all through their performance, they exchanged it at each other’s turn to sing.

It went on like that for the rest of the show. While performing Bolingo, Tip swizzy was seen struggling to look around for another Microphone but all in vain. Eddy Kenzo tried as much possible to cover up though we were too keen not to miss anything, good or bad.

FAKE MC'S

The show was hosted by Little Known Daggy Nice and NTV's Douglas Lwanga. The latter might be very good for a birthday Ceremony but not a big event like Mbilo Mbilo. Douglas Lwanga should stick to his TV business and leave issues of the generals to the generals, everything about him was boring, for crying out Loud. He is one of the reasons Bebe Cool will capitalize on, to brand Eddy Kenzo an upcoming artiste for the next two years. An Upcoming artiste is one who doesn't not know the right MC to choose for his concert.

POOR TIME MANAGEMENT

Why would you invite the American Ambassador and his “bazungu” friends to a Concert if you can't respect time? Many Africans have written it on their walls that 8pm means two hours later and that perhaps is the reason crowds kept flocking in even at 10pm yet it was communicated that the show would start at exactly 8pm and pre-shows at 6pm. But for Howwe and our “bazungu” brothers, we stepped foot at Africana as early as 5pm to catch every bit of the Mbilo Mbilo experience but to our dismay, the show had not started officially up to 8:45pm.

FEW TABLES IN THE VIP, NOT ENOUGH

“I paid for a VIP table, how do you tell me,  to sit in the ordinary” one attendee was overheard arguing. The tables were visibly not enough for the VIP class, some people had to endure and sit with the ordinary while others left the venue in disappointment, before the show started.

WAITERS AND WAITRESSES WERE ALL OVER.

Waiters and waitresses donned in different colors, pink, blue, purple were littered at Hotel Africana like they were street preachers looking for lost sheep. Juice, PK , Muchomo, Spoons , blankets " they whispered and bargained with attendees to buy their commodities.

We honestly didn't like it, it should have been somewhere in Masaka on an event like Masaza Cup not Mbilo Mbilo where HowweBiz and several International media outfits were in presence.
