Sheila Gashumba has made her name as the biggest music influencer in East Africa. Her name is tagged on several Nigerian artists including Tiwa Savage, Ruger, and Andekunle gold among others.
Speaking about the Ugandan music industry, Gashumba appealed to artists to embrace music as a business. She explained that many still don't understand showbiz, and it's keeping them backward.
"Dear artists in Uganda, paying for PR is important, ask the artists that are booked in Uganda. Music is a business not a playground for dreams you had when you were young! There is the music industry and the music business!! Learn the difference," she tweeted.
Gashumba believes Ugandan artists are talented enough to compete favourably across the continent if they invest in public image and media.
