Comedians Maulana and Reign recently refused to take money from a fan who identified as part of Team Muhoozi.
The comedians later explained that they won’t side with people they consider oppressors.
They want to stand with the majority who are struggling with day-to-day needs instead of enjoying money from the rich.
“We are never going to shy away from the issues that affect the public. We have to speak up and influence change. We don’t fear the consequences even when they might be tough,” they concluded.
The comedy duo openly opposes the current government and often criticizes it.
