Musicians under the Uganda Musician Association (UMA) umbrella are preparing to vote for different candidates on Monday 23rd May 2022.
The UMA electoral commission has announced that voting will happen via SMS to ensure that every registered voter has access.
“We shall use SMS to vote. We want every UMA member to participate and some of the members don’t have smartphones,” Phina Mugerwa, a member of the UMA electoral commission confirmed.
It was announced that every candidate will have the short code that will be used to vote for them.
King Saha and Cindy are contesting for the UMA presidency.
