Musician Eddy Kenzo has a big following of musicians and many believe in him. The singer revealed he disappointed those who reached out to request him to lead UMA.

Speaking in an interview with local television, the Big Talent boss explained that different artists had privately begged him to run but he refused.

The singer believes he can serve fellow musicians even without any position in the music industry.

"I was approached by many musicians to run for UMA presidency but I refused. I don't have to be in the office to serve. I am not an active member of UMA but I support the Association and wish them well," he said.

Early this week, Eddy Kenzo endorsed King Saha for the UMA presidency against the incumbent Cindy Sanyu.
