Cindy Sanyu and King Saha are vying for the position of presidency at the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA).

However, several artists have trashed the forthcoming elections, claiming most of the candidates have other intentions rather than lifting the industry.

Karole Kasita said she won't vote until UMA is for the industry, not specific individuals.

“I will not vote or take part in the affairs of the association until they are ready to help the industry. Most of them are looking for money from the government, they don't care about us,” she said.

Karole Kasita made the remarks while appearing on Galaxy FM for an interview.
