On Tuesday, it was reported that struggling musician, Big Eye allegedly stole Shs 5m from the treasury of the Uganda Musicians' Association (UMA) headed by Cindy Sanyu. 

The singer has come out to vehemently deny any wrongdoing, saying he can never do such a thing to an association he serves. 

"I can never do such a thing. I serve the association wholeheartedly and I am ready to account for every coin," Big Eye the current treasurer of the association was quoted by the local press. 

The UMA was launched in 2017 but it has been marred by several scandals and bad press.
