A month ago, WYSE Technologies Limited management dragged singer Katende Andrew alias Dre Cali to court for breaching a contract.

Dre Cali reportedly entered into a 5-year contract with Wyse Technologies Limited on March 27, 2018, but five months later, he started acting contrary to the agreement he signed. He went to join Mpaka Records, owned by Ykee Benda without terminating his previous deal.

He tried to end his relationship with the label in an email on July 14, 2019

After terminating the contract, a notice of intention to sue was served to him, but he allegedly ignored it. The company decided to seek redress from the courts of law.

On Monday, 24th January 2022, the court summoned Dre Cali to appear at the Commercial Division of the High Court (Kyaggwe Road) on January 25th, 2022 ( today) before the court registrar for a prehearing session at 11:30 am.

By press time, our efforts to reach Dre Cali were futile.
