After almost three years, the 2019 East Africa's Got Talent Winners, Esther and Ezekiel Mutesasira haven't yet received their grand prize of Shs 184m.

The frustrated duo has now threatened to take the organizers of the event to court for failing to pay them.

They narrated their ordeal through a live video on their official Facebook page.

"It is now two years and we are still waiting for the grand prize promised to us. We have never received money and the managers of the event have not contacted us in a long time," Esther said.

Ezekiel emphasized the court will help them access their funds.

"I think it's only court or God who can come to our rescue. We have waited for so long without pay," he said.

The competition took place in Nairobi, Kenya in 2019 and the organizers promised an award of $50,000 to the winners but up to date, the money has never been sent to their account.
