Vumbula Uganda, a tour and travel company started a journey to unearth the hidden treasures of the tourism city, Fort Portal over the weekend.
The Nile Special sponsored trip was flagged off and blessed by the minister of tourism, wildlife, and antiquities, Mr. Hon. Martin Mugara at Uganda Museum.
Hon. Martin Mugara encouraged the group to continue promoting domestic tourism and vowed to support Vumbula Uganda trips and he promised to tag along for the upcoming trips.
A group of tourism enthusiasts had a very educative tour as they visited the historical Amabere Gayina Mwiri, Sempaya Hot Springs, the mighty Mahooma Falls, Crater Lakes, and also had yoga sessions.
Music mixes by Dj Roja, Mc Africa, and Dvj Mercy Pro kept the travelers entertained. They enjoyed on board and virtual games and also planted 100 trees courtesy of the National Forestry Authority.
Their next trip is dubbed ‘Vumbula Kabale’ and the dates will be announced sooner than later.
