A week ago, music promoters who were affected by the lockdown received Covid-19 relief fund from Government in Gulu.

The promoters were reportedly tasked to produced evidence that their shows were canceled which they did thus getting compensated.

The promoters received Ugx 300 million and were distributed among only 8 people.

However, Sure Events boss, one Ismail claims several mafias made their way to the list they are not promoters.

According to a post on his social media platforms, Ismail claims he was sidelined and replaced with unknown people yet his company is fully registered with over 50 employees on top of having evidence of loss incurred due to the lockdown.

He now demands justice and transparency from the Government.
