Gospel singer Levixone's savings box can’t be robbed by even the poorest church mouse. This follows his revelation that he has used up everything he had.
The singer says his woes started the previous year.
“Remember, I had a concert planned at Namboole. I had booked the space and paid for everything then the lockdown happened. I used almost all my savings and what was left has been supporting me. But now I’m not doing okay,” he said in an interview
Levixone wants the government to extend financial support to him or compensate him for the loss he incurred due to failure to stage the show.
“Recently, promoters got money. I didn’t get it. I’m not happy. Why didn’t I get it yet I had a show as well,” he wondered.
The entertainment industry has been under lockdown for almost two years.
