Music promoters have been requesting a bailout from Government to inform them of a relief fund to help them recover from the losses incurred during covid-19.
A week ago, the promoters including Andy Events Limited, Bajjo Events, Abtex Promotions among others received their money to pay off debts. Most of their events were interrupted by the pandemic.
What shocked many is that the promoters who received money were fake. The names on the list don't exist.
This has left some of the promoters who were rightfully meant to receive the bailout unsatisfied and cursing.
Some of the fake music promoters are renowned city journalists.
