Music critic Wisdom Kaye claims musician, Rema Namakula, should be thanked for contributing a lot to the success of Bebe Cool's music career.
He said Bebe Cool was afraid of Rema's career, he knew she was destined to be bigger in the industry.
"He didn't willingly promote or groom Namakula. He did it as payback after she backed him up in a number of his songs," he explained.
"Bebe Cool wanted four backup singers but when they came Rema was far better than the rest. She could do more than what the other four could do. She helped Bebe Cool than what he did for her," he added.
Rema Namakula has done well with manager Kayemba Solo ever since she left Bebe Cool's Gagamel. She recently signed a new manager since he joined active politics.
