The entertainment industry has been in lockdown for over a year. The President stopped concerts and events in March last year as a way of curbing the spread of COVID-19.

The music promoters have since been trying to get a bailout from the government in form of a stimulus fund.

The latest news is that their efforts paid off and the money was released to cater for the losses incurred during the period of lockdown.

According to promoter Balaam Barugahara, the fund will not be shared for the time being because of the ghost promoters on the list.

The promoters who compiled the list have failed to explain some names hence a clash.

They have since halted sharing the money until the issue is resolved.
