Socialite Meddie Ssentogo was of one the big spenders in Kampala. He used to splash money in top hangouts around the city like he owned keys to the National treasury.
But unfortunately, in 2012, he was arrested and sent behind bars for conniving with Shanitah Namuyimba alias Bad Black to steal Shs 11 billion from David Greenhalgh.
After getting convicted, some of Meddie Ssentongo’s assets were seized and money was siphoned from the accounts. He went to South Africa to start a new life after being released from jail but it seems things didn't work out as he expected. He returned with his tail between his legs, resorting to low and quiet life.
Our sources have now revealed that Meddie is now a barber at his saloon located at Quality Shopping Village in Lubowa, a Kampala suburb.
Before he became big, he was a barber. It's no coincidence that he landed such a job.
