A section of Ugandans on social media have been decampaigning Uganda's Award winning star, Eddy Kenzo after he was nominated in East Africa in the African Music Magazine Awards(AFRIMMA) in the category of the best male artist.
They are continuously calling upon Ugandans to vote for Tanzanian star, Diamond Platnumz instead of him.
Inan interview, he said he is okay with Ugandans voting Diamond Platnumz because he is also from East Africa and it's their choice.
"It's up to the people to vote for me or Diamond Platnumz because he is also from East Africa. I have no problem with that after all, it has always been me or him," Eddy Kenzo said.
Other Ugandans that were nominated include; Sheebah, Sasha Vybz among others. The colourful ceremony is set to happen on 15th November 2020 in Dallas Texas, USA.
