Following the resignation of Sanyu FM’s veteran presenters like James Onen, the oldest station in the country launched a competition dubbed Hot Mic. The overall winner will be crowned and hired. There are now only 10 contestants left to battle it out.

Insiders at the station informed Howwebiz that upcoming musician Crysto Panda was dropped because his  English was below standard for Sanyu FM audience.

"The judges were not impressed with his English and they felt it was below average for Sanyu FM standards," an insider informed Howwebiz.

He was also accused of being unserious for  failing  to meet with other contestants while he was busy travelling upcountry with his team promoting his newest song “Kyoyina Omanya” with Sheebah.
