I was inspired by Dan Mugula to join Music - 'Kwata essimu' hit maker reveals

The 'Kwata essimu' song is one of the biggest hits  in the country right now. 

Fast rising musician  Freeboy features Winnie Nwagi, who spices up the song with an angelic sweet voice.

In an interview with a local television, Freeboy said he will forever be grateful to Swangz Avenue for pushing his song.

Talking about what inspired him to join the music industry, he explained that Kadongo kamu singer, Dan Mugula, inspired him in many ways. He credits him for continuously reviving the African culture through music.

"I used to listen a lot to Mzee Dan Mugula's music and he showed me the way through his songs. He continues to inspire me daiy to keep doing this music genre," he said during an interview.
