Sheilah Gashumba's boyfriend Marcus Lwanga alias God's Plan was a prolific robber who claimed he was committing crime in UK to pay off debts. The jury discounted this defence. He recruited youths to actually carry out the robberies and minimise the risk to himself.
His girlfriend is continuously criticized for dating former robber but she is not bothered.
She says her boyfriend was an international robber, he can't be equated to normal thieves.
"You will find out that those posting about the jail story have been to prison for stealing goats and hens from their neighbors. Kampala Zabu🤣 some were even beaten for stealing coins and sugars at home or some were fired from work for Petty stealing. He is a certified one and stole pounds not shillings," Sheilah Gashumba tweeted.
