US President Richard Nixon popularized the term Silent Majority in a televised address in November 3, 1969 and since then, many have used the phrase in their different campaigns.

In Uganda, for almost three years, Bebe Cool has  been using the catchy phrase,  Silent Majority to mean a large group of NRM supporters that don't express their opinions publicly but always come through to support the party.

And a day ago when USA President Donald Trump twitted the phrase SILENT MAJORITY amidst the violent protests over racism and the murder of George Floyd, Bebe Cool was so excited.

He quickly took to his social media platforms to brag about how Donald Trump now subscribes to Silent Majority.

“Finally the President of the United States of America subscribes to visionary. "SILENT MAJORITY,” he posted.

Social media exploded with memes and many abused Bebe Cool,40, for being  fool.  Some advised him to educate himself about all the instances in history where the word was used and how it was popularized.
