The special event will be broadcasted live on Sunday, May 3rd, from 12 p.m. to 7pm EAT. The broadcast partners will be announced in due course.
The virtual broadcast will show unity and spread a message of hope through various representatives within the creative Arts Industry that are affected by COVID-19, as well as celebrating and supporting the brave frontline health care workers and administrators around the country who are doing incredible, life-saving work.
As well as driving combined action to support the COVID -19 Task Force, the broadcast will highlight testimonials from the members of the Creative Arts Industry, as well as messages of gratitude and appreciation.
Uganda Strong & United will also be a multi-hour digital broadcast streaming online on multiple global platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. Which will climax with a concert that will air from 5 p.m. EAT under the hashtag #UGSTRONG
