Around April last year, tycoon Godfrey Kirumira dragged socialite Jack Pemba to court for failing to pay $300,000 (about Shs1.1 billion) he loaned him. Kirumira went on to confiscate some of Pemba’s cars and household items.
After the embarrassing incident, Pemba flew out of the country. He returned last week and was welcomed by a group of rich friends.
Close pals claim Pemba returned with fat pockets and has paid off his debts including what he owed tycoon Kirumira.
It is however not clear whether he has recovered his cars. A source says he is bringing in a new ride from Dubai soon.
