My Parents Never Believed I Could Sing — Esther Mutesasira

After emerging victorious in the talent search, East Africa Has Got Talent, Esther Mutesasira has revealed that her parents never believed that she could sing.

Esther says she used to imitate musicians she watched on TV, and she sang before mirrors.

 She says only her aunt saw her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion. Her aunt recorded her often and used the videos to prove to her and her parents that she could actually sing.
