UMA Show Grounds Too Small For Galaxy FM’s Zzina Sosh

On Saturday, the Kansanga based 100.2 Galaxy FM held the ‘Zzina Sosh Fresh Edition’ at UMA Show Grounds in Lugogo where the coolest high school students had their biggest holiday maker’s party.

The students started arriving as early as 10:00 am and by 2:00 pm,  the venue was filled to capacity.

The search for the best dancers was on and the winner of the dancing competition, “Freshest Muzinnyi” walked home with Shs. 1,000,000 while runners up pocketed Shs. 500,000.

“We have awarded the freshest 'bazinnyi' because we believe in young talent. Everything was massive from numbers, dancing competitions to performances but we were suprised that the venue was too small for our numbers. It was already filled to capacity by 2:00pm and some of the listeners had to miss out. We are sorry but we promise a bigger venue next time, ” the station manager Mr. Ashraf Ajobe told this website.

At the same event, Uganda’s freshest musicians like John Blaq, Lydia Jazmine, Feffe Buusi, Recho Rey, Grenade, Spice Diana, Fresh Kid, Suspekt Leizor, Vyper Ranking, Hitnature, Kent & Flosso, Karole Kasita among others took centre stage and entertained the ‘bazinnyi’ until 6:00pm when the show officially closed.

Over the years, the radio station has held 4 major events in the social calendar year;  Zzina Awards, Zzina Carnival, Zzina Sosh and Zzina Fest.
