The Rolex Festival dubbed ‘Street Smart’ was launched at the Uganda Independence Monument grounds on Speke Road on the evening of Tuesday 11th June 2019.
The past three successful editions were held at Uganda Museum and now it heads to Lugogo Cricket Oval, for the fourth edition on 18th August 2019.
Different types of rolexes will be on the menu. A line of entertainers will perform for rolex lovers and it will be hosted by Prim Asiimwe and DJ Nimrod.
Members of the press, a few invited guests, representatives from Ministry of Tourism, Uganda Police, Africell, and Coca Cola were present to witness the launch.
The Minister of Tourism Hon. Godfrey Kiwanda, who was the chief guest was not in attendance because of other state official duties. He was however represented by Jimmy Andrew Kigozi, a member in the Tourism Development department.
The Rolex Festival is an initiative headed by Enid Mirembe in support of the dream to promote the rolex as a super meal in Uganda.
